Like the ‘50s originals, our lipsticks use Alnico 6 magnets and a special winding spec to bring out the jangle in your Strat®. This pickup will produce a bright and jangly tone; plus the look is totally unique for a visually striking instrument.
Seymour Duncan SLS-1 Lipstick Tube Pickup - SLS-1 Our Lipsticks use Alnico magnets and a special winding spec to bring out the jangle in your Strat®. In addition to the basic replacement pickup (SLS-1), there is a hotter version for the bridge (SLS-1b) and one with reverse wind-reverse polarity for the middle position (SLS-1 RwRp). This pickup will produce a lively, bright and jangly tone. We continue to re-wind other lipstick tube pickups if you need that service.
